The role of the Estimator – Flooring Systems will involve:
* Estimator position dealing with a range of various commercial flooring projects such as vinyl, laminate, wood, carpets and carpet tile
* Reviewing tender documents and gaining an understanding of specifications and requirements
* Meeting with clients to gain an understanding of project requirements where required
* Conducting surveys and measurements to compile quotes
* Producing accurate quotations to client
* Following up quotations to convert sales
* Estimating for projects ranging in value from £2k up to £250k+
* Prioritise own workload to ensure customers’ deadlines are met
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Flooring Systems with:
* Must have estimating experience within the construction industry
* Ideally will be familiar with various flooring systems such as; vinyl flooring, carpet flooring, wood, laminate, carpet tiles, matting & safety flooring
* Excellent relationship building experience
* Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Good understanding of CRM System
* Self-driven, results orientated with ability to multi task
* Robust, positive outlook and team player
* Mental agility, enthusiastic and articulate
