Estimator – Industrial Roofing

Job Title: Estimator – Industrial Roofing & Cladding

Remuneration: £50,000 - £70,000neg

The role of the Estimator – Industrial & Commercial Roofing will involve:

  * Estimator position promoting a range of Industrial Roofing projects

  * Dealing with inbound project enquiries and reviewing scopes of work

  * Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database

  * Build and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors

  * Carrying out site surveys and measurements to compile further information for quotation

  * May be required to visit sites across the North West to understand and improve any possible site risks, schedules and logistics

  * Liaising with clients to acquire any additional information as required

  * Liaise with suppliers and manufactures to obtain competitive prices

  * Producing formal quotations to clients

  * May be required to do tasks outside of estimating to assist the team

  * Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Industrial & Commercial Roofing with:

  * 5+ years Estimating experience within the Industrial Roofing sector

  * Open to candidates from building envelope or general roofing backgrounds

  * Experience within sheeting / profiled roofing would push an application

  * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  * Understanding of current building regulations

  * Strong character that’s not afraid to help the team when necessary

  * Confident and articulate
