About the Role
We are working with a specialist timber‑frame construction company delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects. They are seeking an experienced Estimator to prepare accurate cost plans, support tendering, and ensure projects are delivered within budget.
Responsibilities
Prepare cost estimates for materials, labour and subcontractors.
Analyse drawings and specifications to identify quantities, risks and value‑engineering opportunities.
Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
Collaborate with project managers and designers to align estimates with budgets.
Maintain cost records and support tender submissions.
About You
Experience in estimating in timber‑frame or general construction.
Strong technical understanding of timber‑frame methods and materials.
Proficient in estimating software and Excel.
Good organisational and communication skills.
Relevant construction or quantity surveying qualification desirable.
