We’re working with a well-established building services contractor seeking an Estimator to join their team and take ownership of estimating for internal and fabric works.
About the Role:
This is a varied and rewarding role focused on pricing internal refurbishment and fabric projects, including:
Joinery, painting, plastering, and general building works
Kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, and small-scale refurbishments
Producing detailed estimates built from first principles
Working with direct labour teams to ensure accurate costings
Supporting the operational team with realistic, well-structured pricing
You’ll play a key role in ensuring projects are costed accurately and competitively, supporting the continued growth of the business.
About You:
Proven experience in fabric or general building estimating
Strong ability to price works from first principles — labour, materials, and productivity rates
Good understanding of trades such as joinery, plastering, and painting
Able to work independently and manage multiple tenders simultaneously
