As an Engineering Estimator, your responsibilities will include:
Interpreting detailed engineering drawings to produce accurate quotations
Liaising with customers and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing
Understanding production methods and machine tool capabilities
Reacting quickly to business needs and supporting continuous improvement
Working closely with the team to optimise pricing strategies
Asan Engineering Estimator, your experience will include:
Apprentice-trained, time-served engineering background
Strong knowledge of CNC machining (turning and milling)
Familiarity with AS9100 or similar quality environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Proven experience in a busy sub-contract machine shop
Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively
