Role Overview
As an Estimator, you will play a key role in supporting the sales and production teams by preparing accurate, timely and competitive cost estimates for customer quotations. You’ll assess technical specifications, materials, labour, and production processes to ensure profitability while maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates and customer quotes based on specifications, drawings, and enquiries
*
Assess materials, production methods, labour, and machine requirements
*
Liaise with sales, production, design, and procurement teams to ensure accurate pricing
*
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of materials, costs, and industry trends
*
Identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to pricing strategy
*
Support the development of customer proposals and tender submissions
*
Ensure estimates are delivered on time and meet company margin goals
About You
*
Experience as an Estimator within the packaging, print, manufacturing, or related industry
*
Strong numerical and analytical skills
*
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
*
Ability to read technical drawings/specifications
*
Confident communicator with strong commercial awareness
*
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP/MIS systems is an advantage
*
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
