Job Description
Estimator - I currently have an excellent opportunity available for an Estimator with an electrical-bias to join a medium-sized M&E contractor who are experiencing rapid growth in the Northampton area.
Duties for the Estimator will include :-
* Estimating costs on tendered projects with an electrical/mechanical value of up to £3m in value
* Take off drawings and input into estimation software
* Carrying out analysis of recieved quotations
* Supporting tender submissions including labour and design input
* Occasional site visits and surveys
* Build and strengthen existing relations with clients and customers
* Attending pre order, mid tender and post tender meetings
The starting salary for the Estimator ranges from £55-65k depending on experience. Other benefits include a car allowance and 25 days annual leave + bank holidays. Electrical experience is required along with a HNC/HND or City & Guilds equivalent.
