Estimator/ Commercial Manager – Point of Sale
Location: Leicestershire
Salary: Circa £50,000
About
Our client is a well-established creative design agency in the POS & Retail & Joinery sectors that have both creative & development teams in-house along with project management and in-house manufacture.
They require an estimator with Point of sale, joinery, Acrylic & Print estimating experience to join the team in Leicester in a full time and permanent role.
The demand for creating, producing and installing innovative Retail POS displays is high and that’s where you come in!
The successful candidate will have both estimating experience as well as a good sound knowledge of the industry and will be able to make an immediate difference to a busy team.
Job Role
* Provide accurate and detailed quotes for bespoke items from drawings, specifications and client instructions
* Take a brief and offer value engineering solutions
* Liaising with manufacturers and suppliers
* Liaising with Clients & Account managers
* Generate bespoke cost pricing
* Generate specific quotations
Skills and Experience
* Knowledge of the Point of sale industry
* Minimum of 5 Years in a similar role
* The ability to work on multiple tenders and quotations at any one time
* A flexible self starter approach with the ability to prioritise
* Analytical and problem- solving skills
* Excellent customer service skills
* Good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Be honest trustworthy and punctual
* Recognises own strengths and weaknesses and identifies personal training development needs and solutions
