Job Title: Estimator – High-End Residential & Commercial Construction
Location: London & Surrounding Areas
Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 (DOE) + Benefits
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
About the Role:
We are working with a range of prestigious clients across the high-end residential and commercial construction sectors who are looking to add experienced and capable Estimators to their teams. These are excellent opportunities for professionals who are confident in pricing bespoke and complex projects and enjoy working closely with clients, designers, and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate cost estimates for high-end residential and/or commercial construction projects
Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotes
Support the bid/tender process, ensuring deadlines are met
Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings as required
Provide input into value engineering and cost-saving strategies
Work collaboratively with project managers and directors during project handovers
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction industry
Strong knowledge of high-end residential or commercial projects (ideally both)
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical documents
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
Proficient with estimating software and MS Office
Strong communication and negotiation skills
