Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to take a lead role within the pre-construction and estimating functions, helping to secure and shape a variety of exciting projects across the region.
About the Role:
As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for a wide range of construction projects. You’ll collaborate closely with our pre-construction, commercial and operational teams, playing a vital role in our continued success and growth.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator in the construction industry
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office suite
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines
Job Description
Manage the end-to-end estimating process, from initial enquiry to final submission
Analyse project drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare comprehensive estimates
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
Evaluate risks and opportunities in each tender
Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure estimates align with project delivery strategies
Contribute to value engineering and cost-saving initiatives
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market rates, suppliers, and construction methods
