Job Description
Our client, a well-established and growing company in the roofing and cladding industry, is looking for a motivated and experienced Estimator to join their dynamic team.
About the Role:
As an Estimator, you'll play a key role in the tendering process, preparing detailed cost estimates for a wide range of commercial and residential projects. You'll work closely with the operations team, suppliers, and clients to ensure quotes are both competitive and profitable.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse drawings, specifications, and project requirements
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates
Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for quotations
Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate project planning
Participate in tender reviews and client meetings
Identify value engineering opportunities to improve project viability
Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar estimating role within roofing and cladding
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
Strong communication and negotiation skills
