About the Opportunity
Our client is a leading specialist contractor delivering exceptional fit out and refurbishment projects across the commercial, retail, and leisure sectors. Known for their innovative approach and commitment to quality, they have built a strong reputation and an impressive portfolio of blue-chip clients.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are now seeking an experienced Estimator to join their pre-construction team.
The Role
As Estimator, you will play a crucial role in securing new business, producing accurate, competitive, and profitable tenders for a range of fit out and refurbishment projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse drawings, specifications, and contract documents to prepare tenders and budgets.
Engage with clients, attend site visits, and pre-tender meetings to fully understand project requirements.
Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations.
Identify value engineering options and potential risks.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to develop winning proposals.
About You
We’re looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
Proven experience estimating fit out and/or refurbishment projects (commercial, retail, or leisure sectors ideal).
Excellent understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost drivers.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
Confident communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office.
