Job Description

About the Role
As an Estimator, you’ll be instrumental in preparing accurate cost estimates for a range of high-end residential construction projects. From one-of-a-kind countryside homes to heritage renovations, you’ll play a key role in ensuring each tender reflects our client’s high standards and commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and submit accurate and competitive cost estimates for residential construction projects.

Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation to understand client requirements.
*
Liaise with architects, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather quotes and assess feasibility.

Identify cost risks and value engineering opportunities.
*
Collaborate closely with the construction and project management teams during pre-construction.
*
Support ongoing pricing strategies for repeat clients and estate partnerships.
What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in estimating for residential construction, ideally high-end or bespoke projects.

Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.

Comfortable reading and interpreting architectural plans and technical documents.

Confident communicating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

Knowledge of local markets, materials, and construction techniques.
*
