About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Estimator to join their Pre-Construction team and contribute to the pricing and bidding of key refurbishment, heritage, and new build projects across London and the South East.
You’ll play a central role in preparing accurate and competitive tender submissions and will liaise closely with Directors, Project Managers, and supply chain partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce cost estimates from drawings, specifications, and client requirements
* Prepare bills of quantities and schedule of rates (including NHF SORs)
* Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for competitive pricing
* Support bid and tender preparation and post-tender clarifications
* Provide handover documentation to delivery teams
* Work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver high-quality proposals
Requirements
* Minimum 4 years’ experience in an Estimator role within construction
* Strong understanding of pricing methods, NHF SORs, and building regulations
* Able to work to deadlines with a high degree of accuracy
* Experience across refurbishment, housing, and/or heritage sectors desirable
* Competency in estimating software and Microsoft Office suite
* Excellent written and verbal communication
