With a strong presence across commercial and residential construction projects, they work closely with clients, engineers, and designers to deliver tailored, regulation-compliant solutions. Role & Responsibilities
Preparing and submitting quotations and variations
Submitting monthly applications for payment
Reviewing supplier quotes for suitability and value
Interpreting drawings, specifications, and scope documents
Attending site meetings when required
Supporting project planning from initial stages
Building strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders
Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and industry standards
Required Skills & Experience
Essential:
Experience within architectural metalwork, steelwork, or construction
Background in subcontractor estimating
Strong understanding of architectural drawings, scope of works, and BOQs
Familiarity with JCT/NEC contracts, CDM regulations, and risk management
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills at all levels
Able to work independently and collaboratively
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and ExcelDesirable:
Relevant qualifications in construction or estimating
CAD knowledge
