Estimator | Essex | Commercial Refurbs | Permanent | Aug 2025
The Role:
You'll be working directly within a main contracting environment, shaping bids and pricing strategies for a growing workload. You'll take ownership of tenders from initial review, through site visits, to final pricing, with the freedom to work efficiently in your own way while collaborating with the team.
The role is designed for an estimator with progression in mind, offering autonomy, hands-on experience, and exposure to a variety of commercial refurbishment projects.
The Projects:
• Commercial refurbishments including schools, hospitals, and pubs
• Typical contract values up to £5m
• Projects delivered across Essex and the surrounding South East region
What they're looking for:
• Main contractor background in estimating (commercial refurb experience essential)
• Ability to take ownership of tenders from review to site visit to submission
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with attention to detail
• Based in (or able to commute to) Essex
