Job Description
Are you an Estimator with proven experience in piling? Do you enjoy the challenge of analysing complex specifications and turning them into accurate, competitive tenders? Ready to contribute to landmark projects and be a key part of a specialist team?
We're seeking an experienced Estimator to join a well-established piling contractor with a strong reputation for delivering technically demanding projects across the UK. This role offers the chance to influence project success from the outset and be part of a collaborative, supportive environment.
Key responsibilities:
Preparing accurate cost estimates for piling projects
Reviewing tender documentation, drawings, and specifications
Liaising with clients, engineers, and suppliers to gather and validate pricing
Identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
Supporting the commercial team during tender submissions and negotiations
What we're looking for:
Demonstrable experience as an Estimator within the piling sector (essential)
Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and negotiation ability
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
A proactive, detail-focused approach
