Estimator – Construction / Civil Engineering
Location: Northampton
Salary / Pay Rate / Package: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time
Vector Recruitment Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Estimator with construction, civils, or drainage experience to join a growing contractor in Northampton.

The Role
Prepare cost estimates for civil engineering, groundworks, and drainage projects
Analyse drawings/specs and produce competitive tenders
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations
Conduct site visits and support post-tender negotiations
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure estimates align with project delivery plans
Support post-tender negotiations and value engineering exercises
Monitor industry pricing trends and maintain estimating database and tools
Requirements
Proven Estimator experience (construction / civils / drainage)
Strong numerical, analytical, and IT skills (MS Office and estimating software)
Knowledge of UK construction materials, methods & regulations
Ability to manage multiple tenders independently
Full UK driving licence
