We are currently seeking a someone with strong customer service and administrative skills to join our clients’ team based within the Oldbury area. Prior experience in an Estimator position is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
Job duties (not limited to:)
Review and process quote requests through the relevant business systems and product configurator.
Prepare accurate and timely project estimates and quotations in line with customer requirements and internal standards.
Analyse project specifications, technical drawings, and customer need to determine appropriate pricing and solutions.
Collaborate with internal departments such as Engineering and Production to validate cost assumptions, lead times, and feasibility.
Maintain accurate records of all quotations and estimation activities for future reference and reporting.
Communicate with customers to clarify project requirements, timelines, and expectations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance satisfaction and gather external market or project intelligence.
Provide administrative support to the Estimating and Sales Order Processing (SOP) team as needed.
Assist with maintaining internal databases, quote logs, and filing systems to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
Support internal process improvements by contributing to initiatives that improve estimation accuracy or workflow efficiency.
Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell additional products and services across the broader group.
Work collaboratively with Sales Representatives to ensure budget rates and estimates align with overall sales strategy.
Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a positive attitude in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
