Job Description
Our client, a well-established and highly regarded construction and office refurbishment company, is looking for an experienced Estimator to join their dynamic and growing team. Specialising in high-quality commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects across London and the South of England, they have built a strong reputation for delivering innovative, sustainable, and client-focused solutions.
This is an exciting opportunity for an Estimator who thrives in a collaborative environment and wants to play a pivotal role in pricing and winning diverse commercial interior projects ranging from £100k to £5m.
Key Responsibilities
*
Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
*
Analyse drawings, specifications, and related documents to determine scope and requirements.
*
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain pricing and ensure cost accuracy.
*
Work closely with the pre-construction and project delivery teams to ensure a seamless handover.
*
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or compliance.
*
Assist with tender submissions and value engineering.
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
*
A minimum of 3–5 years of estimating experience in commercial fit-out or office refurbishment.
*
A solid understanding of construction methods, building regulations, and commercial interiors.
*
Experience working on CAT A, CAT B or D&B fit-out projects is essential.
*
Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail.
*
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
*
Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office suite.
