ESTIMATOR / LARGE FORMAT PRINTER
OXFORDSHIRE
£Open (Depending on Experience) + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Overtime + Pension + Other Benefits TBD
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday
Our client is a well-established and respected printing and graphics company based in Oxfordshire. They are now looking for an experienced and versatile Estimator / Large Format Printer to join their team. This role combines estimating with hands-on large-format print operation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates, operating a range of large-format printing and finishing equipment, and ensuring all work is delivered to the highest standard.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
Prepare accurate quotations and job estimates using Tharstern MIS
Operate large-format printers and finishing machinery, including OCE Canon Arizona flatbed and DYSS CAD cutting systems
Manage print production from start to finish, ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and to specification
Liaise with internal departments, clients, and suppliers to confirm details and project requirements
Maintain equipment and ensure smooth workflow across the print floor
Adhere to all health and safety procedures and maintain a tidy, organised workspace
Proven experience in large-format print production or estimating
Strong understanding of print processes, materials, and finishing techniques
Proficient in Tharstern MIS or similar print management software
Skilled in operating OCE Canon Arizona printers and DYSS CAD finishing systems
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach
Familiarity with a range of large-format print and finishing equipment
Flexible approach with willingness to assist across departmentsBefore You Apply
