Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000neg + Annual Bonus

The role of the Estimator – Mechanical & Electrical will involve:

  * Estimator role dealing with a range of electrical installation services for predominantly the commercial & industrial market sectors

  * Gain an understanding of project requirements through drawings, specifications, tender documents and client liaison

  * Analyse project plans and perform quantity take-offs to accurately estimate labour, material, equipment and subcontractor costs

  * Obtain and evaluate competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors

  * Prepare detailed cost estimates, tender submissions and proposals in line with client requirements

  * Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal teams throughout the estimating process

  * Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, pricing information and project documentation

  * Support cost control initiatives and prepare reports for management review and decision-making

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Mechanical & Electrical with:

  * Must have Estimating experience within the Electrical market sector

  * May be open to a candidate with Electrical experience looking to step up into an Estimator role

  * Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and standards

  * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  * Capable of building and maintaining long term relationships with clients

  * Resilient, hardworking attitude

  * Full UK driving license

  * Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
