Location: West Midlands
Salary: Up to £50,000 (DOE)

About the Role:
In this key role, you'll produce accurate and competitive cost estimates for a wide range of structural steel projects - from primary and secondary steelwork to architectural metalwork. You'll work closely with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure each project starts on a strong financial footing.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse technical drawings and specifications to calculate materials, labour, and time requirements
Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates for tender submissions
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for up-to-date pricing
Support the project team to ensure estimates align with project objectives
Maintain organised and thorough documentation throughout the process
What You'll Need:
Proven experience in a similar estimating role within the structural steel sector
Solid understanding of steel fabrication and installation
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills
