Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estimator to join a well-established engineering firm delivering high-quality projects across the rail, highways, and construction sectors. Working alongside Tier 1 contractors, you will support the sales and estimating team on complex, large-scale structural steel initiatives.

This position is ideal for a skilled Estimator with a background in structural steel, looking to take on a more autonomous role within a dynamic team. It will particularly suit someone who enjoys working from engineering drawings and liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver precise and competitive estimates for bespoke projects.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and Bills of Quantities to prepare accurate estimates
Develop and submit competitive tenders and re-quotes, ensuring compliance with project specifications
Collaborate with clients, engineers, architects, and internal departments on technical matters
Manage CRM systems such as Database and SAP for estimating and client records
Review order documentation and liaise with clients to confirm pricing, payment terms and deliverablesRequirements
Proven experience as an Estimator within steelwork
Knowledge of projects within Structural steel, Civils engineering, Rail, or similar.
Strong IT & Systems skills
Experience working from Engineering drawings.Location: Doncaster
