EV Charge Point Installers/Electricians
Chester, Merseyside, North Wales, Northwest, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, Wirral, Liverpool
£35,000 - £42,000 per year plus company car
Job Summary
Integra People are looking to speak with skilled EV Charge Point Installers / Electricians to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electric vehicle charging stations at various locations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within the renewable energy sector, contributing to the transition towards sustainable transportation. The position involves working both independently and as part of a team to ensure installations are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards.
Responsibilities
Install EV charge points in accordance with manufacturer specifications and electrical codes
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation procedures.
Conduct electrical wiring and connections, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of installed charging stations.
Test systems thoroughly to ensure proper operation before handing over to clients.
Document installation processes and complete necessary reports accurately.
Collaborate with project managers and other team members to meet project deadlines.
Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations throughout all stages of work.
Requirements
A City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation with completed NVQ
AM2 - Preferred
EV Charing Qualification 2919 - Preferred
A City & Guilds 2392 / 2391 / 2394or equivalent Testing and Inspection qualification is preferred.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
EV knowledge and desire to learn about the ever growing industry.
Proven experience with electrical systems or electrical installation work is essential.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for electrical tasks.
Previous experience with EV charge point installation is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
Knowledge of electrical wiring regulations and safety standards within the UK
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Valid UK driving licence is required.
Excellent customer service skills
Benefits
Hours Monday - Friday 8am-4pm (optional weekends overtime)
1X AM install per day, 1X PM install per day, 1-2 service/surveys per day.

Multifunction tester and EV adapter provided.
Holidays - 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
