Job Description

EV Maintenance Electrician – Overview We are working with one of the largest manufacturers and installers of Electric Vehicle Charge Points in the UK who are looking for an EV Maintenance Electrician to join their team in the London area. They are ideally looking for someone with experience on EV charge points, whether that is installation OR maintenance. When you start, you will be given full extensive training on their own brand of domestic and commercial chargers. You will learn how to carry out fault finding, breakdowns and maintenance and become their ‘technical expert’ for the region. Day to day, you will work on a mobile basis, travelling to different EVCP to carry out maintenance and repairs. When a customer has a problem, they will phone the in house technical support team who have remote monitoring on all of their chargers. They will often be able to identify the fault and try to get it working remotely however when they can’t, you will be sent to site to carry out the repair. They will be able to advise what the fault likely is, what you will need to take with you etc which will make your job easier as you are not going in blind. All of this contributes to a higher first time fix rate and hopefully, making you job easier! Though there is travel involved in the role, you will get Door to Door travel pay. There is no out of hours call out rota for the role whatsoever so no requirement to be on call at evenings and weekends. All work is within office hours, Monday to Friday. EV Maintenance Electrician – Requirements * 18th Edition * NVQ Level 2/3 in Electrical Engineering * 2391 (desirable) EV Maintenance Electrician – Salary & Remuneration * Starting Salary of £45,000 * Door to Door Travel Pay * Bonus Scheme (After probation) * Company Vehicle & Fuel Card * Overtime (Enhanced rates) * 25 Days + Bank Holidays * Private Healthcare * Life Insurance * Full Sick Pay * Pension
