About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis working 4.00pm to 8.00pm. You’ll play an important role in supporting the smooth running of the kitchen, helping to prepare ingredients, maintain cleanliness, and ensure high standards of food hygiene and safety are always met.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with basic food preparation, such as washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients
*
Keep kitchen areas clean and organised, including work surfaces, utensils, and equipment
*
Load and unload the dishwasher and ensure all crockery and cutlery are properly cleaned
*
Dispose of waste correctly and in line with hygiene regulations
*
Follow all food hygiene and safety procedures
*
Support the kitchen team during busy service periods
*
Serve customers food
About You
*
Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment (desirable but not essential)
*
A good understanding of basic food hygiene
*
Able to work well as part of a team
*
Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently under pressure
*
Flexible with working hours, including weekends or evenings if required
