ROLE: Events Specialist, Europe
LOCATION: Remotly from UK or Ireland with 15% travel
HOURS: Full-time
PAY: £56,000 per year / €71,400 per year
CONTRACT: Permanent basis

THE ROLE:
* Plan, coordinate, and deliver high-profile sales conferences, trade shows, and events across multiple European locations
* Oversee all aspects of event delivery, including budgeting, logistics, marketing campaigns, and on-site execution
* Lead and inspire a team of event professionals and manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and agencies
* Develop and implement efficient processes to ensure consistent, high-quality event outcomes
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders, sponsors, exhibitors, and attendees
* Monitor budgets closely, negotiate vendor contracts, and ensure value for money
* Evaluate event success using measurable outcomes such as ROI, attendee engagement, and feedback surveys
* Continuously improve event strategy by leveraging industry trends and best practices
THE REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum of 10 years’ experience in event management, ideally with focus on large-scale conferences and trade shows
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and external vendors
* Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
* Proven experience of budget management and vendor negotiation
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt quickly in dynamic environments
* Degree in Events, Marketing, Business, or related field desirable
* Proficiency in event measurement and data analysis would be an advantage
* Fluent English; additional European languages a plus
