Nipperbout Event Childcare is an exciting, unique event childcare company! Join our dynamic team of Head Office staff to help us deliver fun packed childcare for children and young people aged 0 - 17 years at events across the UK and Europe.
We are seeking a part-time Event Operations Coordinator to support the operational delivery of our high-quality services at conferences, exhibitions, festivals, fun days and events throughout the UK and Europe
This role is office based, 3 days per week primarily working Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (7.5 hours per day), with some flexibility on work days. The salary is £30,000 per annum, pro-rata.
About the Role:
You'll work closely with our Operations Director and head office team to coordinate event logistics and ensure everything runs to our highest standards — from booking travel and accommodation to preparing risk assessments, equipment lists and managing event documentation.
Key responsibilities include, but is not limited to:
* Booking crew, travel, accommodation and managing logistics
* Communicating with venues, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver our services and to build excellent relationships with key contacts
* Preparing and distributing risk assessments, crew letters, method statements, equipment lists and creche layouts for each event.
* Preparing all documentation with thoroughness and accuracy.
* Overseeing stock, updating the ops phones, and operational readiness
* Managing the ops inbox and phone line with professionalism
* Attending site visits and supporting major events when required
This is an office-based role only, located in a rural setting near Buckingham, where three friendly labradoodles are also part of the team!
What You’ll Need:
* Outstanding negotiation, organisational and planning skills
* Confident IT skills (Microsoft Office; Excel in particular) - Familiarity with Apple Macs is preferred
* Strong written and verbal communication
* Ability to work flexibly and adapt to constant changes
* Proactive and work calmly in a high-pressured environment
* Ability to work well under time constraints and to meet targets
* Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects at once
* A positive, flexible attitude and great sense of humour
