Job Description

An exciting permanent opportunity for a Junior level Account Executive/Events Support and Administrator to join an established and growing Events/Tech company located in Brighton. Working for a small boutique event agency involves working as part of a very busy, collaborative team and working with high profile clients in the UK and Globally. This is a junior level support role that will be progressive and grow in time to a full Account Events Executive where you will be in control of arranging events. This would ideally suit a graduate with a business degree, or similar and any experience of working within or knowledge and a passion for the events industry is highly desirable. You will be providing full events and administration support from initial booking right through to the event taking place and after customer care. You will be creative, have a positive, friendly, energetic attitude whilst remaining professional. Events are exciting, but they can be changeable and fast paced and remaining calm and professional under pressure is a must. Projects vary from venues proposals to managing the logistics at an international event. The right person will need to be adaptable, entrepreneurial and loves a challenge! Some of the many duties are finding event venues, researching and finding suppliers and vendors, adding bookings to the inhouse system and managing them, accordingly, communicating with customers with updates over the phone and email and on occasions in person. Arranging and sourcing audio/visual equipment, floristry, food and beverages, props and staging. Most clients are corporate and of a high profile. This is a brand-new permanent role due to company success and growth and a fantastic first job opportunity in the exciting Events and Tech market! There is fantastic training on offer from some talented and experienced people, a competitive salary and great benefits and working environment. You would work a 35-hour week, the core hours are 9-5 however flexibility is required due to the nature of the business. You would work virtually but required to work in the Brighton office which is located centrally one day every week. Please note that some global travel may be optional depending on location of client events. Skills/experience and attributes required: * Educated to A-Level standard as a minimum. A Graduate would be desirable, ideally holding a business degree or similar * Strong administration skills are essential * Any experience in the events industry is a massive bonus * Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook – especially PowerPoint and Teams * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Confident customer facing in front of corporate level clients and partners * A creative mind and can think outside the box * Energetic, enthusiastic with a can-do attitude * Personable and friendly * Passionate about the events industry * Strong team player but also happy to work under own initiative * Intuitive and enjoys fact finding and researching * Highly organised with a keen eye for detail * Forward thinking, flexible, and reactive to change
