Events Manager - Incredible, Growing Charity Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time Location: Leeds HQ with some regional travel Working pattern: Monday to Thursday in the office in Leeds (outside of the city) with Friday's from home Are you an experienced Events Manager ready to lead a programme of high-impact events for a growing and well-backed charity? This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Events Manager to take ownership of a diverse events calendar that plays a critical role in fundraising and supporter engagement. As Events Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of everything from flagship galas to exclusive donor experiences. Working closely with the CEO and wider team, you’ll ensure each event is executed flawlessly, professionally, and with purpose. Key Responsibilities of the Events Manager: * Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all events from start to finish. * Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and risk assessments to ensure smooth delivery. * Manage all event logistics, including liaising with venues, suppliers, caterers, and AV teams. * Ensure all health & safety and insurance requirements are met across every event. * Collaborate with fundraising and communications teams to align event activity with wider objectives. * Build and manage strong relationships with sponsors, service providers, and key supporters. * Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring targets are met and spend is efficient. * Support and guide junior team members and volunteers involved in event delivery. * Evaluate event performance and apply insights to drive continuous improvement. * Represent the charity professionally at meetings, briefings, and stakeholder events. What We're Looking For: * Considerable experience in a senior or lead events role, ideally within the charity, nonprofit, or cultural sectors. * A proven track record of delivering high-profile, complex events to an exceptional standard. * Strong project management skills, able to juggle multiple priorities under pressure. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills – confident working with a wide variety of audiences. * Outstanding attention to detail and a drive for operational excellence. * A proactive, calm and solution-focused approach. * Genuine passion for the impact of the charity sector and the ability to convey that to others. This Events Manager role is based at a Leeds HQ, with occasional travel across the region.
