Job Description
My client is a leading name in lift installation, servicing, and modernisation. They are proud to support those who have served in the Armed Forces, and know the value of the skills, discipline, and technical expertise gained in military service. They are now seeking highly motivated individuals with strong engineering skills, gained in the forces, to retrain as Lift Service Engineers.
As a Trainee Lift Service Engineer, you will:
* Work alongside experienced engineers, learning to service, repair, and maintain lifts across Central London.
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, ensuring safety and reliability at all times.
* Provide excellent customer service to our diverse range of clients.
* Receive comprehensive training to gain the industry qualifications and skills needed to operate independently.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from candidates leaving or having recently left the military, including the Army, Navy, and RAF, with engineering experience in fields such as:
* Electrical and/or Mechanical Maintenance
* Hydraulics or Pneumatics
* Fault Finding & Repair
You will also bring:
* A methodical, safety-conscious approach.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
