Job Description
BDS Recruitment are working with a leading crime reduction charity to employ an ex offender progression advisor.
Rate of pay: circa £20 per hour umbrella
Contract length: Sessional – ongoing
Temp to Perm: N/A
Location: Bristol
Nearest train station: Bristol Parkway
Who are the service users?: Adult male prisoners and ex offenders in a prison service.
Working hours: 9-5pm various days of the week - The role is to cover staff sickness and leave on a flexible basis.
Main duties:
* Finance, Benefit and Debt (FBD) support.
* Motivation to reintegrate into society and make a positive difference
* Group work – living independently, life skills, budgeting etc
* Conduct assessments with service users referred into the service.
* Record, monitor and review progress against individual and service objectives to demonstrate impact and tangible outcomesBefore You Apply
