Position Details: Job Title: Exam Centre Manager Contract Type: Permanent Location: London City Working Pattern: Full Time (37.5 hours per week, Monday - Saturday) Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 per annum What You'll Do: As the Exam Centre Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our test centres. Your responsibilities will include: To ensure that the facilities, operations and performance at the assigned test centres meet the standards of Prometric and its testing clients. To plan working rotas and supervise Test Centre Administrators To act as a TCA to administer tests To supervise security/verification precautions of test candidates arriving for registration, ensuring that identification etc. is carried out correctly. To answer telephone enquiries and provide information about testing to candidates. To support operations and technical personnel with data communications, ensuring that these are successfully completed. To file irregularity reports for unusual situations or complaints. To calculate and approve timesheets and expenses for all staff, submitting to the Senior Manager at appropriate times. To provide security at the testing facilities by ensuring all locks and security systems are properly used. The TCM will also be responsible for holding keys to the testing facility. To operate the Digital Video Recording System and to train all staff to use the system To actively participate in Prometric quality assurance, audit programs and other company initiatives as a flexible team player. To maintain a working knowledge of policies, practices and procedures. What We're Looking For: To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience: Flexibility in working hours and willingness to support activities at other locations. Proven customer service and management experience. A commitment to meeting deadlines and responsibilities. Strong responsiveness to management direction. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team. A good general education, with at least a grade C in GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
