Location: Various schools and exam centres across Brighton & Hove
Contract type: Casual / Zero-hours (term-time only)
Start date: Ongoing recruitment – roles available from Spring 2025
We are seeking reliable, observant, and professional individuals to join our pool of Casual Exam Invigilators. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and fair running of examinations across schools, colleges and exam centres in Brighton & Hove.
This flexible, term-time role is ideal for those seeking occasional work — including students, retirees, or anyone looking to contribute to the local education community.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare exam rooms and distribute papers and materials.
Supervise candidates during examinations, ensuring exam regulations are followed.
Record attendance, report incidents, and collect scripts securely.
Maintain a calm and supportive exam environment for all students
About You
We’re looking for individuals who are:
Punctual, responsible, and well-organised.
Professional and able to remain calm under pressure.
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Able to maintain confidentiality and uphold examination standards.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
