Exams Officer (Temporary) - Secondary School (GCSE Exam Period)
 Location: Bolton
 Daily Rate: £145 - £160 per day

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Exams Officer to support a secondary school during the crucial lead-up to the GCSE examination period. This is a temporary position requiring a confident and highly organised professional who can step in and manage the examinations process with minimal supervision.

This is a fast-paced and detail-driven role, ideal for someone who has previously held responsibility for coordinating exams within a UK secondary school setting and understands the regulations, deadlines, and procedures set by awarding bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing the planning, organisation, and smooth delivery of GCSE examinations
Liaising with awarding bodies to ensure all requirements and deadlines are met
Managing exam entries, amendments, and candidate data
Coordinating invigilators, including scheduling and briefing
Ensuring compliance with JCQ regulations at all times
Handling exam materials securely before, during, and after exams
Supporting students and staff with exam-related queries

Essential Requirements:

Proven experience working as an Exams Officer within a UK secondary school (essential - applications without this will not be considered)
Strong knowledge of JCQ regulations and exam board procedures
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Confident communication and administrative skills
