We’re seeking an experienced Generator Engineer to join a respected company providing expert service, maintenance, and installations across the London to South Coast region. You’ll work on a wide range of diesel and standby generators, supporting critical power systems for commercial and industrial clients.

This role offers real variety — from emergency breakdowns and planned maintenance to control panel diagnostics, load bank testing, and full system commissioning. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring our customers’ operations never lose power.

🔧 What you’ll do

  * 

    Service, maintain, and repair diesel and standby generators

  * 

    Fault-find on electrical and mechanical systems

  * 

    Perform load bank testing and commissioning

  * 

    Carry out installations and control panel work

  * 

    Respond to emergency callouts and planned maintenance

  * 

    Deliver professional, high-quality service every time

⚙️ About the Generators

You’ll work with brands such as FG Wilson, Cummins, Perkins, and CAT, using Deep Sea and ComAp control systems. From small backup units to large-scale power sets, you’ll handle everything from diagnostics to complete rebuilds, ensuring reliability and performance.

🧠 What you’ll need

  * 

    Proven experience as a Generator Engineer or Field Service Engineer

  * 

    Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability

  * 

    Familiarity with Deep Sea or ComAp controls (advantageous)

  * 

    Full UK driving licence

  * 

    A proactive, professional approach
