Location: Dublin
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading independent planning consultancy in their search for a Senior Planner to join their Dublin team.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced planning professional to work on a diverse range of projects across Ireland, including residential, commercial, and mixed use developments. The successful Senior Planner will join a respected firm known for delivering practical, high quality planning advice and maintaining strong client relationships.

The Role
As a Senior Planner, you'll manage and deliver a variety of projects while supporting clients and colleagues across the business. You'll provide professional planning advice, prepare and submit planning applications, and contribute to strategy and policy work.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage planning projects from inception to completion
Prepare planning applications, appraisals, and appeals
Liaise with clients, consultants, and local authorities
Undertake planning research and site assessments
Support business development and client relationship management
Mentor junior team members as needed
About You
We're looking for a commercially aware and driven Senior Planner who enjoys a varied workload and is confident working both independently and as part of a team.
Requirements:
Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline
IPI membership (or eligibility)
Experience in planning, ideally within consultancy
Strong understanding of Irish planning policy and legislation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Organised, professional, and motivated to deliver high-quality work
