On behalf of our client we are seeking a Purchasing Expeditor to support their Supply Chain function. This temporary role is essential in ensuring timely procurement, delivery, and tracking of materials critical to our operations. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining up-to-date shortage reports, chasing purchase orders, and ensuring our internal stakeholders are well-supported and informed.
Key Responsibilities:

Chase and expedite purchase orders
*
Maintain accurate shortage reports and update MRP system
*
Communicate efficiently with vendors and shippers to confirm timely deliveries
*
Liaise with transportation companies to avoid delays in transit
*
Manage supplier invoices and shipping paperwork accurately
*
Inspect goods upon delivery for quality and quantity
*
Collaborate with various departments to assess material needs
What We’re Looking For:

Strong customer service and communication skills
*
Ability to thrive in a small, busy team environment
*
Prior experience in purchase order processing and expediting
*
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
*
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
*
ERP/MRP system experience
