About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter / Joiner with a strong background in working with finished boards (MFC and MDF) to join our team. The primary focus of this role is the installation of bespoke media walls, incorporating elements such as lighting, TVs, and speakers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in precision craftsmanship and enjoys working on high-end, custom installations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and install custom media walls using MFC and MDF panels.
Work with finished boards to ensure a high-quality, professional finish.
Integrate basic electrical components such as LED lighting, televisions, and speaker systems.
Assist with the installation of bedrooms, kitchens, and bespoke fitted furniture as secondary tasks.
Read and interpret technical drawings and client specifications.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment on-site.
Liaise with clients to ensure satisfaction and manage expectations.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Carpenter / Joiner, particularly with media walls and finished boards.
Strong understanding of MFC and MDF materials and their applications.
Basic electrical knowledge for fitting lighting and AV equipment.
Experience in bedroom and kitchen fitting and bespoke furniture installations.
Full, valid UK driving licence.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Desirable:
Experience with smart home integrations.
Own tools and transport (preferred but not essential).
