Experienced Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools in South Bristol
Pay: £95–£140 per day (higher if you hold QTS)
Contract: Day-today and long term available
Start Date: As soon as you’re ready
Looking for flexibility and great daily pay without the stress of planning? Protocol Education is recruiting Cover Supervisors across South Bristol to step into cover roles that suit your schedule and location. You do not need to be a qualified teacher; if you have lead classrooms, youth clubs, tutored, or worked as a supply teacher, then we would love to have you working with our schools. We are a busy agencey who many schools rely upon for General Cover, looking for reliable, pro-active Cover Supervisors to join our strong team of educators. We offer roles in convenient locations near you that are flexible to your availability, whether you want to work 2 days or 5. You’ll get the freedom to choose your days, the chance to build positive relationships with different schools, and competitive pay every week. Long-term opportunities are also available if you want consistency and routine.

What you'll be doing:
Stepping into lessons across a range of subjects (no planning required!)
Delivering pre-set work and keeping students engaged
Managing behaviour in a calm, confident way, communicating with warmth and consistency
Building quick rapport with students while keeping things professional
Experience that works well in this role:
Sports coaching or youth work – if you can manage a football team, you can manage a class
Teaching Assistant or Learning Mentor experience – already familiar with the school atmosphere? Even better
Drama, tutoring, Scouts/Guides leadership – anything that involves leading, guiding, and keeping young minds focused

A confident communicator who can lead a room
Someone with a warm, encouraging, positive nature
Flexible, reliable, and quick on your feet
Good sense of humour and a calm approach to challenges
Degree not essential, but it’s a bonus
