We are now seeking an experienced Delivery Operative to join our busy warehouse and delivery team within a well-established, premium home interiors and flooring business based in Grimsby.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in deliveries, removals, or a similar role, who is looking to work within a professional, supportive, and customer-focused environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Be:
* Personable, with excellent people skills and a friendly approach
* Punctual and well-presented, taking pride in representing the business professionally
* Organised, with strong attention to detail and time management
* A good communicator, able to interact effectively with customers and colleagues
* Experienced in delivery, removals, or a similar hands-on role
Key Responsibilities:
* Driving a Luton transit van on scheduled delivery routes
* Safely unloading and positioning furniture at customers’ premises (homes or offices)
* Assembling furniture as required to a high standard
* Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach on every delivery
* Carrying out vehicle checks to ensure safety and reliability
* Reporting delivery feedback and any issues requiring follow-up
* Supporting the warehouse team with general duties as needed
