Job Description
Our client is seeking an Experienced Fitter / Assembler to join their skilled and dedicated team in Diss. This hands-on position involves the assembly, installation, and fitting of industrial equipment.
The role may also include the occasional overseas installation work, supporting international projects as required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble, install, and fit high-quality industrial equipment into various industries.
* Ensure all equipment is built and installed to the highest safety and quality standards.
* Carry out maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments as required.
* Work collaboratively with team members and other trades to deliver projects on time.
Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience as a Fitter/Assembler, ideally with similar machinery.
* Strong background in assembly and installation work.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Experience in the manufacturing sector is advantageous.
* Welding and fabrication skills (preferred but not essential).
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Additional Information:
* This is a hands-on, workshop and site-based position.
* Varied and interesting work.
* Occasional overseas travel for installation projects may be required.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and respected company who value their staff. The pay is £15 to £18 per hour, depending on experience. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8am to 4.30pm, totalling 40 hours per week plus O/T and all travelling paid. The role includes 25 days of holiday per year, plus bank holidays.
