Experienced Learning Support Assistant / SEND Support Worker Location: Southend Start Date: Immediate Do you have experience supporting children or young people with special needs? Are you proactive, full of energy, and ready to get stuck in wherever you’re needed? Do you have the resilience, flexibility, and open-mindedness to support pupils with a wide variety of needs? If so, we’d love to hear from you. About the Role Protocol Education are recruiting for experienced Learning Support Assistants / Teaching Assistants to join a specialist SEND provision in Southend. The pupils have a range of needs including autism, SEMH, severe learning difficulties and complex care needs. Some will require personal care, support with mobility, or help to manage behaviours and emotions. This is a long-term, full-time role working Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:30. What We’re Looking For Experience working with SEND, care needs or complex learning difficulties (school, care or personal). Someone who is proactive, enthusiastic and high-energy – able to step in and support wherever needed. A flexible and open-minded attitude, with the resilience to adapt to different challenges each day. Confidence in supporting with personal care and pupils with medical or physical needs  A driver with access to a car would be helpful, but this is not essential.
