Experienced SEND Teaching Assistant – Bingley
Location: Bingley, West Yorkshire
Salary: £90 – £100 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time / Long-term (with potential for permanent)

The Education Network is recruiting for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Bingley. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner who is passionate about supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and making a genuine difference in their educational journey.
The Role: As an SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with a range of SEND, including autism (ASC), social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH), and communication difficulties.
Work alongside teachers and support staff to deliver targeted interventions and differentiated learning activities.
Foster positive relationships with pupils, helping to build their confidence, independence, and engagement in learning.
Support the implementation of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and contribute to progress reviews.
Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment where every child can thrive.About You: We are looking for someone who:
Has proven experience supporting children or young people with SEND (in mainstream or specialist settings).
Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a calm, supportive approach to behaviour and learning.
Can work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.
Is reliable, adaptable, and committed to supporting inclusive education.
Holds a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) – experience will also be considered in place of formal qualifications.What We Offer:
