Are you a skilled sheet metal fabricator/welder looking to work on technically rewarding projects in a professional and supportive environment? We’re expanding our fabrication team and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sheet Metal Welder/Fabricator at our Newhaven facility.
We design and manufacture advanced, high-quality equipment for customers around the world and we need talented professionals like you to help us maintain our reputation for excellence.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:
As part of our Metal Department, you’ll be fabricating stainless steel and bespoke equipment for cleanroom and hospital applications. You’ll be working with a wide range of equipment and processes, from cutting and folding to welding and finishing.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Cutting, preparing and developing sheet metal for production
* Folding, welding, finishing, and re-graining stainless steel sheets
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and verbal instructions
* Using machine tools, hand tools, and measurement instruments (Verniers, Micrometers, Tapes)
* Managing single or multiple jobs simultaneously
* Occasionally working on-site to install finished products
✅ What We’re Looking For:
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in sheet metal fabrication/welding
* NVQ / City & Guilds qualified or proven hands-on experience
* High standards of accuracy, finish, and consistency
* Self-driven with a positive attitude
* Able to work independently or in a team
