Job Description
Are you an experienced surveyor or installation manager in the fenestration or wider construction industry with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for upholding standards? Do you thrive under pressure, communicate with confidence, and want to play a key role in resolving complex disputes?
A leading inspection and auditing body in the UK is seeking a knowledgeable and credible Expert Witness to join their specialist team. This is a unique opportunity to apply your technical know-how in a role that genuinely impacts the quality and integrity of the built environment.
Role responsibilities:
* Conduct detailed onsite inspections of live and post- completion fenestration installations
* Producing accurate, clear, and objective expert witness reports
* Liaising with legal teams, insurers, and claims professionals
* Attending court or tribunal hearings when required
* Keeping abreast of building regulations, codes of practice, and product standards
Candidate skills & experience:
* Have a solid and strong background within technical surveying/ installation management within the window and door industry
* Experienced in report writing and capable of explaining complex findings clearly
* Confident, detail-oriented, and highly professional under scrutiny
* Able to work independently with integrity and sound judgement
* Be computer literate, able to use Microsoft office and CRM systems
