Export Coordinator
Hereford
Circa £30k + benefits
We are looking for an organised and detail-focused Export Coordinatorto manage the movement of goods to customers worldwide. This is a hands-on role covering the full export process, ensuring shipments are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time.
The Role
* Oversee the full export cycle across air, sea, and road freight, ensuring all activity meets relevant trade regulations
* Prepare and check shipping paperwork, including customs entries, commercial documents, and certificates for multiple global markets
* Maintain accurate application of Incoterms and advise colleagues on correct usage
* Monitor freight-forwarder performance and work with them to achieve agreed service levels and cost efficiencies
* Ensure compliance with post-Brexit EU import/export processes as well as other international market requirements
* Work closely with internal teams to coordinate shipping schedules and resolve any transport or customs issues quickly
* Keep up to date with changes in trade legislation and adjust processes accordingly
About You
* Experience in international trade, export operations, or customs compliance
* Strong knowledge of Incoterms, shipping documentation, and trade regulations, including EU customs procedures
* Confident communicator able to work with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities
* Proficient in using ERP systems and shipping platforms
