️ Extrusion Operative – Recycling Sector
Location: Northampton Type: Temp to Perm Salary: £35,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (Initial training on day shift)
We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a leading recycling company based in Northampton, who are seeking a committed and capable Extrusion Operative to join their team. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability, excellent training, and a competitive salary.
Role Overview:
As an Extrusion Operative, you’ll be responsible for operating machinery that processes recycled materials, ensuring production runs smoothly and safely. You’ll begin on day shifts for the first few weeks to complete full training before transitioning to the regular afternoon shift.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
Operate extrusion machinery and monitor output quality
Assist with loading/unloading and basic machine maintenance
Maintain accurate production records
Adhere to health & safety and environmental standards
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in manufacturing or extrusion (Essential)
Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
Willingness to learn and grow within a supportive team
Reliability and commitment to long-term employment
