Available Roles & Pay
1. Extrusion Setter – Permanent Days
Shift: Monday to Thursday, 06:00 – 18:00
Pay: £34,944
Total Weekly Hours: 48 hours
2. Extrusion Setter – Rotating Shifts
Shift Options:
Week 1: Monday to Thursday, 06:00 – 18:00
Week 2: Monday to Thursday, 18:00 – 06:00
Pay: Up to £40,560
Shift Allowance: 22% (days), 25% (nights)
Key Responsibilities
Set and operate Corrugation or Crosshead Extrusion machines depending on experience.
Monitor machine performance and maintain optimum running conditions.
Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials and finished products.
Maintain, clean, and care for tooling and equipment.
Accurately complete production and quality records.
Follow and promote 5S standards and good housekeeping practices.
Proactively support continuous improvement initiatives.
Adhere to strict Health & Safety procedures at all times.
Undertake any additional duties as directed by the Team Leader.
✅ What We’re Looking For
Previous experience setting and operating extrusion machines (corrugation or crosshead).
Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding ability.
High attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
A positive team player who can also work independently.
Excellent time management and communication skills.
Ability to work to tight deadlines and production targets.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and best practices.
